The Design:

Godshill is designed as a contemporary Queensland house.

There are various accommodation modules for holiday rentals. Privacy for all occupants, therefore, was one of our primary design considerations.

Exterior is an understated look of timber, plywood, glass and corrugated iron to blend with, and take in the surrounding rainforest view.

The interior is a relaxing atmosphere of white and timber finishes. Northeast aspect ensures maximum light and warmth. There are plenty of art pieces and antiques collections for curious minds to discover.

It took 28 workers and one chef working from dawn to dusk every day, 7 days a week, for 5 weeks to finish the construction. The project was managed by McCarthy Homes of Brisbane.

This house has won numerous awards including best interior design.
